The 4-5 Indianapolis Colts and 6-3 Atlanta Falcons are set to do battle at 1 p.m. EST at the Georgia Dome, and the Colts will be without their leader, Andrew Luck. That certainly will have an effect on the rest of the offense for Indy, but at least they have recent success with backup Matt Hasselbeck. Below are predictions for the top five fantasy football performers for this Week 11 matchup of the 2015 NFL season.
5. Coby Fleener
The Falcons have been terrific at covering wide receivers all year long, ranking in the top five of the league. However, their coverage of tight ends has been among the bottom five. Fleener will benefit the most from this matchup threw the air for the Colts, and was a main target for Hasselbeck earlier this year during his only two starts. During that span, Fleener had 11 receptions on 15 targets for 92 yards and a TD.
Projection: 5 REC, 64 YDS, 1 TD
4. Matt Ryan
This figures to be a bounce-back game for the Ryan and the Falcon's offense. Scoring only 66 points the last four games, in which they've gone 1-3, now is the time for the Falcons to get back on track at home. Expect Ryan to come out with a sense of urgency and play relatively well.
Projection: 25/35, 307 YDS, 2 TD, 0 INT
3. Frank Gore
While Hasselbeck may struggle through the air, the Falcons can be had on the ground. Indy's best chance to win this game is if they commit to the run attack and slow the pace of the game. Gore has been their workhorse, and that won't change on Sunday.
Projection: 26 CAR, 102 YDS, 1 TD - 3 REC, 22 YDS
2. Devonta Freeman
However, Freeman will outperform him slightly, as the Falcons will simply find more success on offense than the Colts on this day.
Projection: 22 CAR, 113 YDS, 1 TD - 5 REC, 42 YDS
1. Juliio Jones
Ultimately, this game will be won by the dominant offensive balance from the Falcons, and their best player will lead the way as they improve to 7-3 on the year.
Projection: 11 REC, 168 YDS, 1 TD
