Spoiler Alert: Tonight NBC’s Heroes Reborn series is all new with another all new episode. Recently, former Chuck star and Thor 3: Ragnarok actor, Zachary Levi, opened up about playing a multilayered villain on the path to redemption in the new Heroes reboot. Check the report below for a look at the new episode and Levi’s comments.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of Heroes Reborn, titled “11: 53 to Odessa,” reads:
“The destinies of Noah and Luke at last cross as Malina releases her true power. Meanwhile, Tommy may need to team with his enemy; Carlos faces his violent past; and Ren searches for Miko.”
Recently, Zachary Levi spoke to National Post about going from, reluctant hero, Chuck to the reluctant villain in Heroes Reborn:
“When you get stuck playing the same thing all the time it gets boring. Also you’re not challenged and you can’t show the other sides of things you can or would like to do [as an actor]. I’m glad that this affords me to play something different.”
Levi went on to discuss watching the original series, adding:
“I watched some of it. I caught up on the first season and I think I watched the second season live. I’ve watched bits and pieces of three and four. It was difficult because I didn’t really have a life while I was shooting Chuck. We were working 16 hour days and I was there all day every day so I fell off on all television watching. But we were all on NBC together and I met so many [cast and crew] during that run. I’m still friends with many of them. It was a really cool world that Tim Kring and Bryan Fuller created. I was always intrigued by it. So when this got announced I thought it’d be fun to do.”
Be sure to tune into the all new episode of Heroes Reborn, tonight at 8:00 p.m. eastern on NBC, or you can catch up on Hulu Plus.
