Spoiler Alert: Tonight, ABC is all new with another brand new episode of The Muppets. Tonight, the more adult theme series, sees the return of Chelsea Handler to TV. Handler left her E! show last year and is planning a move to Netflix in 2016. Check the report below for a look at tonight’s new episode and Handler’s new plans.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of ABC’s The Muppets, titled “Too Hot to Handler,” reads:
“Scooter books his crush, Chelsea Handler, who spices up ‘Up Late’ and his personal life. Meanwhile, Kermit learns that Becky may be hiding her past from Fozzie when he and Denise go on a double date.”
Over the summer, at Television Critics Association press tour, Chelsea Handler opened up to reporters about her upcoming move to Netflix, as Variety Reports:
“Netflix, they’re very well known for letting talent drive its own car. They give you the structure that you need and they let you drive … it’s such a pleasure to work with people that have faith in you and let you blossom.”
Handler went on to discuss her upcoming Netflix documentaries, adding:
“They’re all very different, and it’s been a really amazing experience for me work-wise because it’s obviously a lot different than anything I’ve ever done before. They’re feature-length films. I’m a big girl.”
