Looks like Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are headed for a break up. New reports indicate that Khloe will be divorcing her NBA husband, after Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner begged her to leave Odom.
According to US Weekly, Khloe and Lamar are splitting up. A source close to the couple said:
“She called him on their anniversary and told him she’d be filing for divorce. She wanted to give him fair warning. Khloe was very firm. She said she will be filing soon and she thinks it’s best they move on. Khloe told Lamar she hopes he gets the help he needs.”
If the rumors are true, it certainly makes sense. For months now, every major tabloid has claimed that Lamar has cheated on Khloe multiple times and is abusing hard drugs. Though they have denied the rumors, Odom is considerably thinner than he once was.
One person whose firmly convinced the tabloids are lying is Odom’s own father. Joe, his dad, told Heat Magazine that the Kardashians were the ones to blame:
“They brought him down. He would be better off without them. I think the best thing for him would be to have a clean break and divorce Khloe. She’s been talking trash about my son, saying he’s on drugs and stuff like that. I don’t think she cares about Lamar, she just cares about their image and money.”
Joe took a few jabs at Kris Jenner too, telling the publication:
“I wish he had never got married to Khloe. She’s controlling. Those Kardashian women all are. In public she’s nice, but if you see her personally you see the real person. The mother’s like that, too.”
