Miley Cyrus, who is allegedly pregnant, has recently went on the attack. The “We Can’t Stop” singer called Sinead O’Connor out over her recent Twitter rant against the twerking pop-princess. Their feud looks like it could continue up to Miley’s hosting date for Saturday Night Live.
If there’s one thing Miley knows how to do, it’s generate headlines. But recently, someone stepped on her turf. That person happens to be the equally controversial (though, much less famous) Sinead O’Connor.
O’Connor has ruffled a few feathers herself. You might remember her now-infamous SNL appearance when she tore up a photo of the Pope live on air. Now, Sinead has everyone talking again.
Sinead penned an open letter to Cyrus, urging her to change her ways. Here’s some of our favorite highlights:
“The music business doesn’t give a shit about you, or any of us. They will prostitute you for all you are worth, and cleverly make you think its what YOU wanted … and when you end up in rehab as a result of being prostituted, ‘they’ will be sunning themselves on their yachts in Antigua, which they bought by selling your body and you will find yourself very alone…
…Whether we like it or not, us females in the industry are role models and as such we have to be extremely careful what messages we send to other women. The message you keep sending is that its somehow cool to be prostituted … its so not cool Miley … its dangerous."
