Princess Diana Would Approve of Kate Middleton and Prince William of Wales, Claims Source [RUMORS]

Princess Diana wasn’t able to see her son, Prince William, marry Kate Middleton. But a source close to the royalty legend insists that she would approve of his wife.

Princess Kate has been in the press a lot lately. This mostly has to do with her giving birth to Prince George Alexander Louis earlier in the summer.

In addition to generating a ton of buzz for the royal family, it also generated a ton of speculation. Most recently, Daily Star published a story claiming that Princess Diana would approve of Kate Middleton. The publication quotes a source as saying:

“Kate is absolutely everything Diana wanted. She even said William’s wife would have dark hair. Diana wanted someone down-to-earth for William, with a close family unit so he could enjoy a normal family life. She wanted a future queen of the people, for the people.”

Unfortunately, Diana couldn’t relay these sentiments herself. The princess who captivated the world, died tragically in 1997. The source continued:

“I knew Diana very well during the last 18 months of her life. Diana discussed with me in great detail what she wanted for William in terms of a wife, children – what she wanted for his future. When I hear the contents of the tape, they echo what she discussed with me in great detail. It is uncanny.”

That’s good news for Kate who, like Diana, has been blazing her own trail at Kensington Palace. She and her husband have breaking new ground on the royal front.

Prince William started the trend after George was born, personally driving Kate and George home. Also, the couple recently shared family photos that were not taken by a professional photographer. It was, instead, Kate’s father who took the pics.
