While Vanderpump Rules has often been known for its cast's over-the-top antics, Jax Taylor insists that Season 4 is set to make past years look tame by comparison. According to Tom Sandoval the most exciting addition to the series in 2015 are the new members of the Vanderpump's SUR team that are joining the show. Meanwhile, Stassi Schroeder's longtime nemesis Scheana Marie claims that the fans will finally get to see what is really going on in her marriage to Mike Shay.
While the Vanderpump Rules cast have hardly suffered from a shortage of members willing to take things to extreme's to the delight of the series' fans, Tom Sandoval told Reality Tea that the show is made all the better by Season 4's new additions:
"We have new people that are on the show, and they actually work better than previous times when they [producers] have tried to do that. This is the problem with a lot of reality shows...they try to 'cast' the show with people who don't know each other. And the conflict is just not real.
"In bringing in new people this season too: A) they're really working at SUR and B) they didn't make the mistake of trying to come into our group of friends and put on some sort of 'character' or front, which we've had in the past."
During his recent interview with People magazine, Jax Taylor seemed to confirm that the influx of fresh faces brings all new conflicts and relationship to the forefront of Season 4:
"There are a lot of ups and downs. I think everybody on the show goes through something this season so it's pretty intense...There's definitely no lack of [excitement]."
According to the conversation Scheana Marie had with TooFab, we will even finally get to the bottom of all the rumors that she and Mike Shay are ready to get a divorce, despite only being married for a year (via InQuisitr):
"My relationship has always been surface level on the show...[but] you'll really get to see the first year of marriage and how much we've struggled.
"A lot of the issues that you'll see in the first month of the show are things that had been an issue last year that kind of got brought back up again."
