Both of these teams are looking to redeem themselves in this nationally televised matchup.

The Thunder are coming off of two-straight losses, 110-105 against the Houston Rockets and 103-98 to the Toronto Raptors. Now those are two good teams, and it's just the regular season. Five games in, no big deal. Durant is still getting acclimated to playing again after being hurt most of last year, and this team is trying to find their identity late in games.

Meanwhile, amid speculation of a riff between Rose and the Bulls, Chicago was most recently knocked down a few pegs by the Charlotte Hornets, falling 130-105.

So even though these two teams have the same record (and again, we're only five games into the regular season), in Chicago, many believe the floor is falling from under this group already. And for some reason, it's seems like people have been trying to bring these Bulls down a lot lately, with the Butler-Rose "feud," Rose's iffy rape speculations, the thought that they traded all of their defensive ability and mentality for offense only with the Fred Hoiberg move, and now that rumor starting about the Bulls moving on from Rose. Chicago is facing more adversity than any other team in the NBA at this early stage in the year, so tonight, it would seem as good a night as any to try and put those thoughts to rest.

If the Bulls are going quiet all of these things, they need to win, and against good teams. The Thunder boast superstar talent and hopes of a championship, especially with Durant's contract coming to an end after this season. And personally, after his not-so-happy comments following the blowout loss to the Hornets, I think Jimmy Butler is going to make sure this team is fired up.

Prediction: Bulls 96, Thunder 93
