There has been a new update in the rumored divorce of Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom. According to new reports, the couple spent their wedding anniversary apart. This comes after the NBA player attacked his father over statements his pops made towards the Kardashian clan, despite the fact that he was defending his son against drug abuse and cheating rumors.
In case you have been living under a rock, Lamar Odom’s dad, Joe, recently sat down with Heat, where he was more than eager to discuss his son’s problems. Unlike the rest of the modern world, Joe doesn’t think the problem is that his son is cheating or using drugs. Nope...dear old dad thinks the real problem is the Karadashians:
“They brought him down. He would be better off without them. I think the best thing for him would be to have a clean break and divorce Khloe. She’s been talking trash about my son, saying he’s on drugs and stuff like that. I don’t think she cares about Lamar, she just cares about their image and money.”
Attacking Khloe wasn’t enough for Joe, either. The estranged father of Lamar went after Kris as well, saying:
“I wish he had never got married to Khloe. She’s controlling. Those Kardashian women all are. In public she’s nice, but if you see her personally you see the real person. The mother’s like that, too.”
Lamar was quick to defend his wife and her family. Odom took to Twitter to dispel his father’s comments, tweeting:
"Won't continue 2 speak on this but I have got 2 let this out real quick. I have let this man and many other get away with a lot of sh-t. He wasn't there 2 raise me. He was absent ALL of my life due to his own demons. My mother and grandmother raised me. Queens raised me."
