Chris Brown is no fan of the media, in particular, the paparazzi. More recently, the "Fine China" singer, who has a problem with facing the consequences of his 2009 domestic assault against then-girlfriend Rihanna, lashed out against America's hypocritical forgiveness of Jay Z for his crimes. Now the artist is offering up some advice to fellow rapper Kanye West in the wake of his recent problems with the paparazzi. Meanwhile, Brown has taken to social media to promote his new album, X, announcing the release date via Twitter.
Kanye West has recently found himself in a world of trouble when it comes to the paparazzi. The new father is currently being sued by photogs for attacking them at LAX over the summer. West is countering the suit by claiming self-defense. In recently published court documents, West claims:
"[The paparrazi] willfully and wrongfully caused (West) to reasonably believe his safety was in danger."
West and the paps also recently had it out in the rappers driveway, prompting him to yell:
"Shut the f**k up, it's 4 am, you blood suckin' mosquito! You bully! You f**kin' mosquito bully! Mosquito bully!"
Fortunately for West, he is not alone. Fellow rapper Chris Brown also feels his pain. Brown recently tweeted some advice to West, (because Chris Brown is a fountain of good advice):
"I hate how the media makes us look like aggressive animals. On some real s--t If those cameras on ya property that means its trespassing."'
"Kanye West hire some security or some street n----s to take care of the bulls--t so u not explaining Yaself."
This isn't the first time Brown has butted into a fellow rapper's business. In a recent interview with Jet Magazine, he reminded America of Jay Z's past sins:
“This is something I’ve been dealing with for the past maybe five years. Anybody with a voice – Tupac, Michael Jackson, the Notorious B.I.G. – gets formatted. Except maybe for Jay Z, who is accepted by White America because he shakes hands and kisses babies. No disrespect, because I’m a fan, but nobody brings up the fact that he stabbed somebody and sold drugs. He gets a pass.”
He was referencing Jay Z's 1999 stabbing of producer Lance "Un" Rivera for which he received a mere three years probation.
Brown, however, did manage to take some of the focus off of other rappers and place it solely on himself when he recently announced the release date for his new album, X by simply tweeting:
"111913!''
