Gwyneth Paltrow, star of Thanks for Sharing, a film about sex addiction, is talking an awful lot about the subject. The possibly pregnant actress is also opening up about her views on cheating.
The 41-year-old mother of two has been doing a lot "sharing" lately. In her new film, aptly titled "Thanks for Sharing," she plays a woman who has trouble coming to terms with husband's (Avengers co-star Mark Ruffalo) sex addiction. However, she recently revealed to Refinery 29 that she might not have such reservations in the real world:
“I’m an extremely open-minded person, so I think if it was something I knew I was getting myself into, I wouldn’t let it deter me from exploring the relationship."
That's potentially good news for her husband, Coldplay's Chris Martin, or is it? She also went on to express her views on forgiveness of cheaters:
“I think that if the idea of being committed to someone is important to you, you begin to value certain parts of your social life over another. No couple is the same, and as such, every couple takes on different challenges. I would like to think that I would be forgiving and/or forgiven, but I can’t give an honest answer as I haven’t really experienced that.”
Earlier in the month, Paltrow appeared on Chelsea Lately, where she discussed her film role with host Chelsea Handler, who joked:
"Let's talk about sex addiction. I know that you are addicted to sex. Do you want to elaborate on that?"
Paltrow rolled with the punches and fired back:
“Well, basically I was a really normal person, and then I started hanging out with you all the time.”
Paltrow just recently celebrated her 41st birthday last week. Thanks for Sharing is currently in theaters. Check out the film and be sure to share your thoughts in the comments section below.
