Things might not be going great for Simon Cowell in 2013. Not only was it revealed that his mistress, Lauren Silverman, was still married to her husband when Cowell had sex with her, but it also came to light that she is pregnant with his child. Things got even worse for the mogul, when it was announced over the weekend that he and Silverman were spotted fighting in public.
Though Cowell has no problem telling 13-year-old’s they’re talentless and the reaction that garners, it appears that he is bothered by the negative press he has generated with his cheating actions. The latest of which indicates that there may be trouble in paradise.
The ultra-rich TV judge and producer appears to be sparring with his soon-to-be baby mamma. According to an article in Star magazine, the two have been fighting a lot lately. According to their “source,” the two began fighting in Cowell’s SUV over a text message from an ex:
“Lauren just flipped out right there in the car. She told him he is disrespectful and needs to set boundaries with these women. She said that he is going to be a father soon and needs to behaving like one instead of a bachelor.”
Simon, however, isn’t one to take criticism lying down. According to the source, he fired back:
“Simon told Lauren that he has nothing to hide and has never lied to her about his relationships with these women. He told her she has no right to try and remove people from his life just because she’s insecure and possessive.”
The source also alleged that Lauren is acting erratic and is terrified that Simon will leave her, telling the publication:
“Lauren’s jealousy is getting out of control, and she can’t help herself. She knows Simon will be looking out for a new distraction. Ever since Lauren went from being his mistress to being his partner, her paranoia has gone through the roof.”
