Spoiler Alert: This weekend, ABC’s Once Upon A Time is all new with a killer new episode. The Dark One, Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) has sent Brave’s Merida (Amy Manson) to make a man out of Rumple, A.K.A. Mr. Gold (Robert Carlyle) by trying to kill Belle (Emilie de Ravin). The official plot synopsis for this weekend’s all new episode of Once Upon A Time, titled “The Bear and the Bow,” reads:
“Merida goes on a quest to save her brothers and brings Belle with her in a Camelot flashback. Meanwhile, a spell that will open communication with Merlin is found in Storybrooke; and Emma orders Merida to kill Belle, prompting a heroic fight from Gold.”

Belle and Gold also reunite and get into the action, after The Dark Swan sends Merida to make him Brave.
Recently, Merida actress, Amy Manson spoke to TVLine about being ordered to try and kill Belle:
“Merida doesn’t want to do it, and what ends up happening is a formation has arisen in her own mind of how she can avenge Emma and Emma’s decision, how she can get her heart back, and if there’s any way that she can pull Gold into helping her. That’s what you find out this week, that even though she’s under Emma’s control, Emma doesn’t exactly know what’s going on when she’s with Gold. She has a hidden agenda, for sure.”

Hap, meanwhile, tries to bring a rival into the fold; and Carla senses that Hap is involved with Jules.”
