Apparently Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting's love affair has ended almost as suddenly as it began. According to the latest gossip news updates, The Big Bang Theory's Penny is furious at her soon-to-be ex-husband's demands for spousal support in the wake of her filing for divorce last month. Word has it that the often topless Instagram bikini model doesn't want to give the professional tennis player one cent that she doesn't have to -- even if there reportedly is a provision for spousal support in their prenup.
Although they thought their whirlwind romance would last former, less than two years after tying the knot, Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting are said to be at each other's throats.
One source in the latest November 9, issue of Life & Style claims that Sweeting's filing for spousal support was the last straw for Kaley, who is now doing everything she can to make sure her ex's winds up with as little of her money as possible:
"She's furious...she thinks Ryan just wants revenge.
"Kaley doesn't think he deserves her hard-earned money. She's been on the phone with her lawyers almost every day. She doesn't feel like she owes Ryan anything.
"She's fighting him on it, and it's getting nastier every day."
Making matters worse are the claims that Kaley did everything she could to save their marriage, but in the end, Ryan was said to be more devoted to prescription painkillers than he was his wife.
A secret insider told Page Six that shortly before things went belly-up, Ryan busted out of rehab only to go missing for half the next week:
"Kaley gave him an ultimatum: 'If you don't stay sober, then I'm done.'
"He went to rehab, but when he came out he went missing for a period of time...like four days."
What do you think about Ryan Sweeting asking for spousal support?
Is that only fair given that his numerous injuries have reportedly kept him from being able to compete professionally?
Or, is it wrong for any ex-husband to expect their former wives to support them after a split?
Let us hear what you have to say about it in the comment field below.
