A woman was ushered out of a theatre in Nottingham for allegedly singing "loudly and badly" to the musical, The Bodyguard. The musical features X Factor winner Alexandra Burke and is an adaptation of Whitney Houston's '92 movie of the same name.
According to a report, the audience member became aggressive when other patrons asked her to be quiet. She was ultimately tossed out after her own versions of the songs continued for 20 minutes.
Of the titles she sang in her own voice one included was "I Will Always Love You," a feat for any singer of quality, let alone a bystander.
Sacha Gainard described the performance as "more like a football match than a theatre trip."
"We were a few rows in front of the woman, who it sounds like was being told off for singing along loudly and badly. She was swearing and being quite aggressive to those who were trying to shush her. It rumbled on, and after every song, it seemed to bubble back up to enough of a level most of us on the second tier could hear her."
Alexandra Burke, who dons the role of Rachel Marron, seemed unfazed by the woman's performance and made no mention of the crisis on her social media.
Kate Collins, Operations Director of the theater even remarked that the performance was untainted and went on unaffected.
A proud moment for Whitney Houston, the show is a tribute to the singer and features her most famous songs, "Saving All My Love," "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" and "I Will Always Love You."
