For weeks now, rumors have been flying that claim Robin Thicke cheated on his wife, Paula Patton. The claims first surfaced after his twerking performance with Miley Cyrus at the VMAs. Now the “Blurred Lines” singer is saying that the rumors aren’t true.
Turns out claims that the couple is calling it quits are totally false. Robin Thicke has repeatedly denied rumors that he has ever cheated on his wife, despite reports that he hooked up with another woman, while attending the VMAs.
In a recent OK! magazine article, Thicke defended his marriage. But according to a source, this could just be for show:
“Paula was all up on him. At one point, Robin blatantly made out with her, then looked around to make sure people were watching, as if they were saying, ‘What do you mean there’s something wrong with our marriage? We’re totally in love.’”
Of course, some aren’t buying it. A different insider told the gossip magazine:
“Listen, [Robin] never wants to hurt Paula. They accept each other for they both are. She knows she didn’t marry a saint, she didn’t marry a guy without a sex drive. She was well aware the she married the Casanova type…”
Both Robin and Patton have refuted the claims made by the alleged mistress, saying that the woman was just desperate for attention. Paula went a step further, when she told OK!:
“We’re good at communicating. We really talk things out, and that’s the best part. I just know that he has my back, and I have his.”
