Spoiler Alert: Tonight, ABC’s hit fairy-tale drama, Once Upon A Time. Season 5 part one has taken to Camelot on a quest to find Merlyn. Now, it has been revealed that part of Season 5 (5B) will take us to Hell and back. Check the report below for a look at tonight’s new episode and for a look at what is to come.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of Once Upon a Time, titled “Dreamcatcher,” reads:
“Emma and Regina devise a plan to free Merlin, but they lack a pivotal ingredient. Meanwhile, Mary Margaret and David seek an important dagger; Henry asks Violet to go on a date; and Merida attempts to carry out a covert mission Emma has assigned her.”
The first half of Season 5 is not nearly over and yet fans are already looking to 5B. Recently, TVLine’s Michael Ausiello gave fans the scoop on what is to come in his Ask Ausiello section, writing:
“The show is casting a mysterious, dangerous and vindictive God-like figure known obscurely as ‘Distinguished Gentleman’ or ‘DG.’ Given that series co-creator Eddy Kitsis summed up Season 5B as ‘hell,’ which quickly sparked speculation that the ABC series next will brave the Underworld, one must wonder if they’re thusly casting a very dapper Devil.”
