Although she has expressed her displeasure at being referred to as Kanye West's ex-girlfriend at the top of the piece, Amber Rose recently claimed that she was indeed the inspiration for the hip-hop genius' masterpiece album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Slut Walk organizer revealed that Kanye's fifth album was absolutely about their relationship and breakup as long rumored. Meanwhile while Amber Rose is fighting against being known as little more than Wiz Khalifa's baby mama, Kanye is said to be mostly concerned with the new hardwood floors in the house he's renovating with his Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality star wife, Kim Kardashian, in Hidden Hills, California.
Amber Rose is letting it be known that she is none too pleased with the way GQ handled her interview in their latest issue.
In an Instagram post last Tuesday, Amber took aim at the magazine's seemingly attempting to marginalize her at the top of the piece that she thought was going to focus on feminism (via USA Today):
"I'm so much more then Kanye's Ex or Wiz's baby's mama. Damn, why the f*ck did u guys reach out to me for this article and photoshoot? To dumb me down?
"I expected so much more from you guys and I'm so disappointed. I was so excited to be featured in GQ not realizing I was shooting for a tabloid...Thanks for nothing."
Interestingly enough, Aber didn't seem to mind the magazine leaving the bit in where she claimed to be the muse for Kanye's masterpiece, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
In her chat with GQ, Amber explains that it is next to impossible for her to even listen to West's 2010 epic, because so much of it is about their relationship (via Radio.com):
"I'll hear songs and I'm like, 'Oh, he said that about me.' No one knows what he's talking about but me and him. People can't decipher.
"They'll be like, 'That's a cool song,' and I'm like, 'That happened to us when we were together."
For his part, West is said to be far more worried about what the progress of the renovations in his Hidden Hills home than anything Rose has said about inspiring his art.
One source in the latest November 2, issue of In Touch claims that Kanye is bringing the same kind of energy that he usually reserves for award shows, to overseeing the construction:
"He recently went nuclear over the hardwood floors his interior designer has installed.
"He took one look and began screaming, 'Get rid of it!' He hated all of it, from the shade of brown to the width of the floorboards."
