While Gigi Hadid did her best to let the internet haters know that they were wrong to criticize her weight, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reality star reportedly feels that she would drop a couple of the pounds she's picked up partying with new boyfriend, Joe Jonas. According to the latest gossip news updates, Jonas' hard partying lifestyle had the very serious supermodel wondering is she wouldn't have to breakup with the former Disney star to get back on track. Thankfully, it's now being rumored that Gigi has been able to convince Joe it's time to change his ways -- thus saving their relationship for the time being.
Although Gigi Hadid completely disagreed with the folks that complained she was too heavy to be a high-fashion runway model, the 20-year-old beauty is said to have secretly agreed that she could stand to drop a pound of two.
One source in last week's October 26, issue of In Touch claimed that Gigi was afraid that her dating Joe Jonas was the reason she's gained the extra pudge and even contemplated dropping him in order to drop the weight:
"She wants to give Joe an ultimatum: clean up his act or she'll leave him. She's worried that if she does leave Joe, he'll have no reason to get it together.
"They are together for the moment, but she's privately telling friends that she's at her breaking point.
"If things don't improve, she'll be heartbroken."
Fortunately for their fans, the informant in OK! Magazine's latest November 2, issue claims that Gigi has since been able to talk Joe into joining her health kick:
"Gigi has very big dreams and goals, and she isn't going to let parting get in the way.
"Gigi got caught up in Joe's lifestyle...[but] she's vowed to cut out the alcohol completely until she's dropped the 10-pounds she gained from going out with Joe."
What do you think about the idea that Gigi Hadid has to lose weight?
Does that sound like the absolute pentacle of insanity?
Or, should a supermodel be always be stick thin -- just like Twiggy?
