Bad news for Bill Nye The Science Guy. The Dancing With the Stars competitor released a health update today on Instagram and things don’t look great. Turns out the star has partially torn ligaments and may not be able to continue in the dance competition. Will Nye be eliminated?
Fans of the hit-TV show were heartbroken to hear that Bill Nye was injured on Monday. While the exact nature of his injury remained unknown, viewers held hope that Nye could potentially finish the 17th series of the dance show. It now looks like that may not be possible.
When it comes to making major announcements, it seems like Instagram is the go-to place. Bill posted the above photo, showing himself wearing a cast in a hospital. Standing beside him was his dance partner Tyne Stecklein. Nye attached the following message:
"Here is the scoop: partially torn ligament. Awaiting the doc's orders with Tyne. We plan to dance! Stand by..."
