Country legends Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have been facing a lot of divorce rumors lately. In a recent interview, McGraw squashed those claims by indicating that he was getting Hill a sexy birthday gift. This latest announcement comes right before Tim McGraw starts filming Tomorrowland.
Don’t fret country fans, Tim and Faith’s marriage appears to be on solid ground. At least, it certainly seems that way from a recent interview he granted E! News.
At first, it appeared that there may be problems for the celebrity duo. When asked where his wife was, McGraw informed the reporter that she was at home, celebrating her birthday:
“Tonight's my wife's birthday so everybody's at home. She's at home with some friends...I was home this morning. I got the morning birthday in.
Tom also implied that he got his wife a sexy birthday gift, but didn’t specify what it was.
Of course, things haven’t always been perfect for the longtime couple. This was especially true when The National Enquirer, America’s least trusted source in news, claimed that the couple was facing a $100 million dollar divorce.
The publication justified their claims with ridiculous allegations. Not only did they claim that Tim was unfaithful, but they also said that he exhibited homoerotic behaviour on tour, quoting a “source” who said:
“I’m going to tell stories about how Tim made comments, and complimented some band members on the size of their manhood, as they played along with his practical jokes. They would have contests to see who could top the other with the wildest horseplay. And they would trade stories--half of them revolving around someone getting naked and doing something crazy."
