The winning numbers for Wednesday, September 25, 2013's $50 million dollar Powerball jackpot have been drawn. Check the numbers below to see if you're a winner.

The winning ticket for last Wednesday nights $400 Million Dollar Powerball jackpot was purchased in Lexington, S.C, at a Murphy USA gas station. Executive director of South Carolina Educational Lottery, Paula Harper Bethea released a statement Thursday following the announcement:
"There is somebody out there who is $399.4 million richer than they were yesterday! If the (winner) is watching, we encourage them to: 1. sign the back of the check, 2. put it in a safe location, and then 3. seek counsel. This is life changing, there are a lot of zeroes in the amount of money this person or these persons are going to get."
The winner has since claimed the prize anonymously.
Powerball Jackpot amounts have drastically increased recently to ticket prices being raised to $2 dollars and California joining the games.
To play the lottery, customers must purchase a ticket for $2 at a state-authorized retailer, in the following states:
Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico New York , North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania,Rhode Island, South Carolina South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas US Virgin Islands, Vermont Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming.
Remember this is just a game and no one should ever go into debt. The lottery commission addresses this issue on their website, telling players:
