'30 Rock's' Emmy Winning Tina Fey Has Two New TV Shows On Fox and NBC

Saturday Night Live alumni Tina Fey is returning to television. Since the end of her criticality acclaimed show, 30 Rock, Fey has signed not one...but two development deals with both NBC and Fox.

The 43-year-old writer and actress rose to fame as the co-anchor of Saturday Night Live's "Weekend Update." Before she made her name behind the news desk, she was working behind the scenes as one of SNL's head writers.

Her experience on SNL lead her to co-create 30 Rock, a comedic look behind the scenes of a network's sketch show. The show recived mid-level ratings but garnered an inpressive 112 Emmy award nominations, winning 16.

Now that 30 Rock has ended its run, Fey fans can rejoice once again. Tina Fey has signed on to develop two new series for both NBC and Fox.

Last month, it was announced that Fey would be writing a new comedy for NBC under her four year post-30 Rock deal with the network. The new show will be the first one produced by Fey's production company Little Strangers. The new show was created by 30 Rock writer-producer Colleen McGuinness and will be executively produced by Fey and 30 Rock's co-showrunner Robert Carlock. The new comedy is once again female centered--following a young woman who is trying to reunite with her father and comes into a new group of work friends on New York's Fire Island.

Fey's second new show will be premiering on Fox. The network reportedly obtained the rights after a heated bidding war broke out over the property. The series is a multi-camera comedy set at a women's college that has just opened it's doors to male students. Once again, Fey will be working alongside her 30 Rock family. It was written by Matt Hubbard and showrunner Robert Carlock is also pulling double duty with Fey on both series. 30 Rock's David Miner is also expected to produce.

No word yet on if Fey will be acting in either series or which, if any, 30 Rock cast members will be coming on board.
