"Don't Be Tardy" and 'Real Housewive's of Atlanta' star Kim Zolciak's husband, Atlanta Falcons' defensive end Kroy Biermann, was hurt earlier this month. Now, Zolciak seems to be undergoing a bit of breakdown in the wake of her hubby's injury.
Biermann tore his Achilles tendon and is expected to be out for the remainder of the season. While he will still draw a sizable paycheck to sit on the bench, it's very possible that the new father could be cut from the team next year, due to the injury. His wife, however, has confidence in her hubby, tweeting:
"My husband is incredibly strong & nothing will slow him down! Never has! Appreciate all the well wishes! He will be back stronger than ever!"
However, it now appears that the injury is staring to take it's toll on Zolciak who has since tweeted:
“Trying to be strong for my hubby but Fox just played the footage of him getting injured last week breaks my heart.”
She followed up by her concern with a disturbing fact: “Fox just said 153 NFL players are on IR [injured reserve list]!! What the heck is going on? Crazy!”
She has also went on to publicly ponder her husbands future plans should he not return to the field anytime soon:
"I think hubby should write a book! Since he is laid up this is the perfect time! What do you guys think?''
She has good reason to worry. Zolciak is a soon-to-be mother of six, including 16-year old Brielle, 12-year-old Ariana, 2-year-old Kroy Jr, and her current youngest, 1-year-old Kash. The housewife revealed to E! News in August that she was having twins:
'I was completely shocked. I had no idea. It was anatural conception, but twins do run in thefamily, so I guess I shouldn't have been surprised. I can't believe I am going to be a mom to six children. It's going to be very busy but it's a dream come true.'
We wish Zolciak and family all the best and a speedy recovery for Biermann.
