Bill Nye the Science Guy Injured on ‘DWTS’ Season 17: May Need Surgery, Snooki and Leah Remini Just Fine [RECAP]

Bill Nye the Science Guy may have had his run on Season 17 of Dancing With the Stars cut short. The fan favorite was injured and may need surgery. This marks the first injury for the season, but don’t worry...Leah Remini and Snooki are just fine.

Bill Nye may have been the lowest-scoring contestant in the first competition, but he was by far the fan favorite. Now, however, it looks like the reality dancing star may have to exit stage left. E! News confirmed the injury, which may require the use of a surgeon. They quote a source as saying:

"We can confirm Bill Nye was injured during his performance last night and is currently seeking medical attention. We will continue to keep you posted on his progress."

Don’t worry, you still have the rest of the cast to look forward to...except Keyshawn Johnson, who was the first eliminated.
