Debby Ryan ‘Jessie’ Series Finale Episode After Peyton List ‘Bunk’d’ Spinoff Premiere

Tonight is the end of an era for fans of The Disney Channel’s hit series Jessie. The show starring former Suite Life on Deck star Debby Ryan is ending after four years. However, the Ross children are still sticking around. Peyton List (Emma), Karan Brar (Ravi) and Skai Jackson (Zuri) have already begun reprising their roles on the spinoff series, Bunk’d.

The official plot synopsis for the series final episode of Jessie, titled “Ooray for Ollywood,” reads:

“The series concludes with Christina Ross returning home and Jessie heading to Los Angeles for a role in a movie. But when the kids realize they still need Jessie, they follow her to Hollywood.”

Just because Jessie is over, it doesn’t mean we have to say goodbye to the Ross children. In fact, the kids have already moved on in the spinoff series, Bunk’d, which premiered ahead of the finale, over the summer.

Earlier in the year, Disney Channel Worldwide EVP of Original Programming, Adam Bonnett, spoke to Deadline about the Jessie spin-off series, Bunk’d, saying:

“Jessie has been a fan-favorite for the past four years. We are excited that viewers all over the world can continue to watch the humorous antics of Emma, Ravi and Zuri, beloved characters played brilliantly by Peyton, Karan and Skai.”
