Lady Gaga’s new 2013 album, ‘ARTPOP,’ may have been shrouded in secrecy, but now one of the producers is speaking out. EDM legend, DJ Zedd, recently opened up about the upcoming songs and how happy he is the release date is approaching. Of course, these latest revelations follow Gaga’s high-profile feud with Perez Hilton.
Lady Gaga is known for generating a lot of buzz around her upcoming projects. This time, however, it was German-based DJ Zedd that was making all of the noise. In a recent interview with Billboard, the artist revealed:
"It was very interesting to have someone say, 'I think we should change this and that,' because I usually don't get that. So it's like a positive fight -- you try to make the best for a song, and … you learn to compromise and find new ways, and I think that ultimately the songs get to a point that I would never be able to get to myself."
Fans may remember that it was Zedd who first offered insight into the ‘ARTPOP’ album, when he spoke to Rolling Stone about the upcoming release. He told the publication:
I'm really, really excited for people to hear what we came up with. I just really can't imagine they would not like it, to just say it straight up. I think the stuff we've made is pretty f--cking cool. It's amazing, because does not have to please anyone, and she is who she is. Her first idea of how we should approach the music was just to be completely open--nothing is too crazy. Whatever is dope is dope. We do whatever we want, and we don't have to make a song that's three minutes and 30 seconds just to fit the radio."
This latest announcement probably comes as a welcome relief for Gaga, who has been embroiled in her own celebrity feud. The singer was battling it out with Perez Hilton.;, but it appears that the couple find themselves at a stand still.
While it was unclear what started the beef, both sides have continued the bickering. Perez posted a photo of Gaga in a wheelchair and wrote “Karma” next to the pic. Gaga has accused the blogger of being a stalker.
But we want to know what you think! Which side of the feud are you on? Are you excited about the upcoming album? Let us know your thoughts in the comment field below.
