Wendy Williams Slams Taylor Swift NOT Rihanna?

It would seem that Wendy Williams for one is not fooled at all by Taylor Swift's American sweetheart, girl next door persona. According to the BET's popular talk show host, the "Wildest Dreams" singer owes her popularity to secretly being the "Queen of Mean." Meanwhile, the wig wearing gossip queen is enamored with notorious bad girl, Rihanna. After Wendy read the R&B singer's recent interview about her breakup with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, Williams seemingly forgave RiRi for every silly mistake she's ever made.

While most folks seemed convinced that Taylor Swift is about as sweet and wholesome as your grandmother's apple pie, Wendy Williams thinks the popstar's squeaky-clean Instagram profile secretly belies a vindictive personality.

In a recent segment on her show, Wendy initially praised Swift for surpassing both Beyoncé and Kim Kardashian in social media followers only to suggest that it was due to her deceptively hateful behind-the-scene machinations (via E! News):

"People like Taylor and I think that the reason why also is a hidden secret of mean. I think that she is probably meaner than Beyoncé and Kim put together.

"In my mind, Taylor Swift is the Queen of the Mean. She's sneaky and smart about doing it which makes her smarter than the other two...she's trying to trick us into thinking she's a good woman because she bakes and cooks and it's actually working right now on Instagram."

Despite that incredibly cynical view of Taylor Swift's social media presence, Wendy Williams is taking absolutely everything Rihanna recently said about trying to be there for Chris Brown at face value.

In her contribution to the latest October 26, issue of Life & Style magazine, Wendy explained that she never felt closer to RiRi than after reading her heartbreaking account of her notorious love affair in Vanity Fair:

"RiRi admits to believing that she was 'that girl' who could change Chris Brown, and ultimately failed.

"This is a new side of Rihanna that was never seen before and I am loving it. New Rihanna is soft, honest and vulnerable. I see this as her coming-to-truth moment, where she is ditching her bad-girl attitude and speaking from her heart."

What do you think about Wendy Williams' opinions of Taylor Swift and Rihanna?

Do you think that Taylor Swift is really some snake in the grass backstabber, while RiRi has always just been pretending to have a tough exterior?

Or, is it far more likely that after nearly a decade in the spotlight that both of these full-grown women are exactly who they pretend to be?

Let us hear what you have to say about it in the comment field below.
