Disney and Nickeloden Stars Come Together to Support Jennette McCurdy: Bella Thorn, Zendaya, Ariana Grande and Noah Munk Tweet Condolences

Nickeloden Star Jennette McCurdy tragically lost her mother to cancer on Friday. Some of McCurdy's closest friends have been there to help her through it, including her costars, Ariana Grande and Noah Munk, as well as Disney stars, Bella Thorne and Zendaya.

It's impossible to imagine being young and having to face the death of a parent, unless you happen to have been unfortunate enough to experience it. The lossof one's mother or father can take a devastating toll on even the most mature of adults, much less a 21-year-old. To have to watch the person who is supposed to take care you slowly die, while you are helpless to do anything but pray, must be truly heartbreaking.

There should be some small comfort in knowing that McCurdy isn't alone during this dark time. I I addition to her family and personal friends, she has also been received prayers and support from her fellow child stars.

McCurdy's former iCarly costar Noah Munck tweeted:

“Sending thoughts, prayers & deepest sympathy to my friend @jennettemccurdy. Your mom was so loved by the Munck fam. &will always be in my ❤.”

Her close friend and current Sam and Cat castmate Ariana Grande simply put:
“I love you @jennettemccurdy.”

Disney stars have also voiced their condolences to the actress. Most notably the stars of Disney's Shake it Up, Bella Thorne and Zendaya.

Bella Thorne tweeted:

“Love, prayers and condolences to my beautiful friend @jennettemccurdy and her family. My heart is with you. Much love. I just texted u.”

Zendaya following her co-star,wrote:

“@jennettemccurdy thoughts and prayers to you and your family…I’m so sorry for your loss.”

Jennette, herself, tweeted her gratitude to fans and friends on Saturday:

"Overwhelmed by the love and support coming my way. Thank you tremendously."

We here at Classicalite wish Jennette all the best moving forward. Our thoughts and prayers are with her and her family in this difficult time.
