Leah Remini & Tom Cruise Feud over Scientology Tell-All?

Leak Remini primed her fans and Church of Scientology critics alike last week when she posted a picture of her new tell-all to Instagram and Twitter. According to the latest gossip news updates, the social media post didn't go unnoticed by the Church either, who are supposedly preparing to combat any and every negative remark that Leah makes about the organization in, Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology. Word has it that Tom Cruise is even personally concerning himself with the book's release because of his longtime ties to the religious group.

While Lawrence Wright's book and the adapted HBO documentary that followed, Going Clear, did it's best to highlight some of Scientology's greatest foibles, Church expert Tony Ortega claims in In Touch that Troublermaker's is set to blow the organization apart from the inside out (via Radar Online):

"It will be like a nuclear bomb going off in the church.

"It's the inside story about how people are abused and how families are split apart, and it will be devastating.

"Tom's frightened that Leah knows about Scientology's dirty laundry. He's bracing for the worst."

One source in the latest October 19, issue of Life & Style explains that Leah didn't ever set out to leave the Church, but after reportedly being abused by the Church for asking about the health and safety of one of her fellow members, Remini gradually began to realize that she no longer wanted to be a Scientologist:

"They made her go to Florida for three months of interrogation and behavior modification until she finally took back what she said...Then they fined her $300,000."

Despite having not yet read the book, Scientology spokesperson Karin Pouw claims that Leah's Troublemaker is nothing more than attempt to use the Church as a scapegoat for everything that has gone wrong in Remini's life (via HuffingtonPost):

"Ms. Remini needs to move on with life and stop obsessively blaming others for her problems, be it her former religion or those she has worked with professionally."

What do you think about Leah Remini's new book?

Do you believe all the things that people are saying about Scientologists are true?

Or, do you think the CoS is just trying to find their own path to enlightenment, just like other religions?
