Chris Brown is speaking out against America, well America's seemingly hypocritical forgive and forget policies, that is. The singer is still taking heat for his 2009 domestic assault against his on-and-off again girlfriend Rihanna. During a recent interview with Jet Magazine, Brown took a few stabs at Jay-Z and Trayvon Martin shooter, George Zimmerman.
Chris Brown has been paying for his actions every day for the past four years. So you know he has a few issues with others who "got away with" their crimes--particularly, the jet-setting, hip hop mogul, Jay-Z. Breezy recently spoke with Jet Magazine, where he criticed his continued persecution, by throwing Jay-Z under the bus:
“This is something I’ve been dealing with for the past maybe five years. Anybody with a voice – Tupac, Michael Jackson, the Notorious B.I.G. – gets formatted. Except maybe for Jay Z, who is accepted by White America because he shakes hands and kisses babies. No disrespect, because I’m a fan, but nobody brings up the fact that he stabbed somebody and sold drugs. He gets a pass.”
He, of course, is referring to Jay Z's 1999 stabbing of producer Lance "Un" Rivera for which he only received three years probation.
He also had a few words to say about shooting victim Trayvon Martin. The 17-year-old Martin's killer, George Zimmerman, was acquitted back in July for the 2012 shooting of the unarmed, African-American teenager.
“I identify with Trayvon 100 percent as far as living in 2013 and still dealing with blatant racism. This generation is so used to racism that it’s normal; we don’t care. We aren’t on drugs or catching AIDS, but they still look at us as ni**as.”
