'Thor: The Dark World' Chris Hemsworth Talks Brothers Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Liam Hemsworth

Chris Hemsworth is his brother's keeper. From his Cain and Able-like relationship with his Thor: The Dark World co-star, Tom Hiddleston's Loki, to his unwavering support of his real life brother, Liam. The world's best big bro has had do an awful lot of talking about siblings recently.

Chris Hemsworth is the man of the hour. Between his newest film, Ron Howard's real life racing drama, Rush, and with his next movie, Marvel's Thor: The Dark World, just under two months away, you can't change a channel without seeing his handsome mug. Despite all his recent success, the actor is being overshadowed, it seems, by his siblings.

Luckily, Chris is the supportive type of brother. In a interview with Cinema Blend released last month, the actor told writer Eric Eisenberg about Thor and Loki's sometimes rocky relationship:

'In the comic books you kind of roll your eyes sometimes at the amount of times they’re back to being best friends. So we wanted to keep in mind, Loki did just try to kill you for the seventh time, and Earth, and the big war, and what have you.'

He went on to add:

"I don’t think they’re going back to being best friends, but I think Thor’s at a loss about how they got to this point, ‘cause for him I think all this stuff came out of nowhere. I think that then in this film he certainly can acknowledge now, with a maturity, that, okay, he should have been more aware of Loki over the years, and where he was positioned and all of this, and why maybe that led him down a certain path. So I think there’s a sort of an empathetic view for Loki that no one else can have because they’re not bound by blood."

Chris has also had his fair share of talking about his real life brother, Liam, in the wake of his highly publicized break up with Miley Cyrus. Earlier this week, Ellen DeGeneres ask him about all the recent media attention Liam has been getting, to which Chris answered:

"I'm lucky. I've spoken to a few people about it. I don't know that you can ever . . . It's sort of is what it is. At times you're a target and at times you're not. If you have a film coming out or who you are dating and what have you . . . but um, we've been lucky, my wife and I. We kind of live a pretty simple boring kind of life. We're not rolling out of clubs at 4 in the morning. Not to say that Liam is by the way . . . I mean he has once or twice."

It's been reported that Chris and his okder brother Luke, where both very much against Liam's relationship with Miley from the beginning. The New York Post recently reported hearing Chris say:

"We're brothers and we give each other advice all the time. We're very supportive with each other."

Chris Hemsworth's latest film Rush is out now. Thor: The Dark World comes out November 8th.
