Kelly Clarkson is admittedly stressed over planning her wedding, but that won’t stop her from releasing her forthcoming album, Wrapped in Red, on the scheduled release date. Of course, she did announce that they were eliminating the ceremony and would marry in private. According to some U.S. tabloids, Reba McEntire is furious over the decision.
Despite all of the drama in her romantic life, Clarkson will be releasing her new record in time for the holidays. Fans will still be able to purchase the album on October 29, 2013, as planned.
One thing, however, that didn’t go according to plan, is Kelly Clarkson’s wedding to fiance Brandon Blackstock. Kelly admits that she became overwhelmed, telling People Magazine:
"We just got so overwhelmed by it--all the decisions. I have a Christmas record coming out. I'm doing a bunch of stuff with State Farm right now. We have two kids who just started school. We're going to all these football games and soccer games and volleyball games and [Brandon]'s got one of the biggest artists [Blake Shelton] in country music. He's flying everywhere."
According to the National Enquirer, America’s most un-trustworthy news source, that decision has infuriated Reba McEntire. How’s that?
Turns out that Brandon is actually Reba’s stepson, and the country legend was looking forward to their special day (if you believe the Enquirer). The publication quotes a “source” as saying:
“Reba told Kelly she knows wedding plans can get overwhelming, but she’s shortchanging both herself and her family by not making their wedding a big day for everyone. To Reba, Kelly is cheating everyone out of a special event they can all share in.”
Are you excited about Kelly’s upcoming album? Do you think there is any truth to rumors that Reba is upset?
