Days before Liam Hemsworth dumped Miley Cyrus, it appeared that he began dating Eliza Gonzalez. Despite reports to the contrary, the actor has not been seeing January Jones in his post twerking split from Miley. Is this break up the best thing that could have happened for Liam?
Long before their split on September 16, Liam and Miley were clearly having problems. Months went by before the couple were photographed together, and what pics did surface showed a distressed union.
Of course, those weren’t the only photos of the stars that surfaced. Two days before their high-profile split, Liam was photographed partying the night away with Eliza Gonzalez.
Liam and Eliza, a 23-year-old Mexican actress, were spotted at club Bungalow, a Las Vegas hotspot. Seen snuggling up to one another, it appeared as if they were on a date. Star Magazine, a U.S. tabloid, quotes a source as saying:
“They spent the entire night flirting, and he didn’t let her out of his sight. He left the club with Eliza at 2:00 a.m. Miley and January were definitely the last thing on his mind.”
The January mentioned is January Jones. Weeks before Liam and Miley called it quits, there were rumors that Liam and January were dating. According to a source who spoke to Us Weekly:
“His wandering eye may be the wrecking ball of his relationship with Cyrus...and their already on the verge of cutting ties…Liam and Miley haven’t officially split, but it’s over...It’s just that neither wants to pull the trigger.”
Though the reason for their break up has not been officially announced, it likely has something to do with Miley’s hyper-sexual VMA performance. In case you missed it, the young celeb danced in underwear, twerked (like, super hard) and used a giant foam finger (in an unladylike fashion) on both herself and Robin Thicke.
Even Thicke, who is known for his provocative behaviour, seemed shocked by her actions. He, too, came under fire for the performance.
