Depending on who you talk to, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato are either helping each other party their way right back into rehab, or feuding again. According to the latest gossip news updates, the former Barney & Friends cast members are hitting the club scene together so hard that their other friends are worried that it will result in their having to get professional help. Of course, it's also being rumored that the Revival singer is no longer talking to her old friend after Demi defended her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber, as being a great guy following their very public breakup?
At 23, both Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato are old enough to do whatever they want, and word has it the former Disney divas wants to drink.
One source in the latest October 5, issue of Life & Style magazine claims that those closest to them knew as soon as they reconciled that Demi and Selena's renewed friendship would mean trouble:
"All of Selena's and Demi's friends knew that when they started hanging out again, they'd pull each other even further down.
"They are fueling each other's partying by enabling each other. They're careening toward rock bottom and need rehab."
Of course, Demi reportedly told Complex magazine that she didn't really even talk to Selena anymore, and it is doubtful that Lovato would be welcome to too many of Gomez' soirees given her outspoken pro-Bieber stance:
"[Justin's] actually a nice guy.
"I don't really know him that well, but he seems to have grown up. He looks like he's maturing. But, you know, when you're young and you get older, you change and people change.
"You have things in common, and then all of a sudden, you don't. It's just a part of life."
For his part, Bieber didn't appear to have any hard feelings about the breakup when he spoke to Complex -- explaining that he and Selena loved at least as hard as they played (via VanityFair):
"It was a marriage kind of thing. Living with a girl, it was just too much at that age.
"But we were so in love. Nothing else mattered."
