By now, most of you know that Clint Eastwood and his wife, Dina, are in the midst of a divorce. But new rumors are claiming that Dina caught her husband red handed with Erica Fisher. Did Clint cheat or is this just another tabloid lie?
Clint and Dina may be calling it quits, but neither celebrity’s camp has leaked the reason why. Of course, that doesn’t stop the National Enquirer, America’s source for fake news, to make rampant allegations.
The scope of their lies is actually impressive. The publication is claiming that Clint and Dina were swingers and engaged in wife-swapping with Erica and Scott Fisher. The tabloid quotes a source who describes Erica as:
“very manipulative, bright and beautiful woman. Clint was smitten with her and liked the fact that she came on to him so aggressively.”
Beyond a shadow of a doubt, this story is false. Sure, the couple is calling it off after 17 years of marriage but no one believes that it is over organized wife swapping. As the New York Daily News reports:
“The former TV news reporter said that she and her husband remain close but have been living apart for a while. A source tells the gossip magazine that the pair broke up in June 2012. The two had not been photographed together in public since 2011.”
Unlike the Enquirer is reporting, the couple did not have a massive fight over alleged cheating. It appears that they simply drifted apart after nearly two decades together.
