Tonight is the night! Last week’s Season 2 premiere of Gotham was good, we here at Classicalite put ourselves in a medically induced coma, just to avoid the wait. Tonight, the villains continue to rise. Fans of the Batman comics know Barbara Keen as Jim Gordon’s wife and the mother of their children (psychopath) James Gordon Jr and (Batgirl) Barbara Gordon. Now, Kean actress, Erin Richards recently opened up about Gotham’s killer twist on character. However, with Kean crazy, it doesn’t look like wedding bells are in her future. Could that mean that Barbara is already pregnant with twins.
Before we take a look tonight’s all new episode, let's review last week’s episode.
Awesome, awesome,Gordon, awesome, awesome, Riddler, awesome, Gordon, awesome, awesome, Joker, awesome, awesome Penguin, awesome, awesome, Gordon again, awesome, awesome, Batcave, awesome, did we mention Gordon?
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of Gotham, titled “Rise of the Villains: Knock, Knock,” reads:
“Gordon investigates the inmate escape from Arkham Asylum; Galavan plots his next move; Bruce's quest to unlock the secrets of his father's office leads him to an old friend of his father's; and Nygma wants to ask Kristin Kringle on a date.”
Recently, Barbara Kean actress Erin Richards recently spoke to TV Line about her decent into darkness:
“Once you kill your parents, you cannot go any darker or lower. So she just got let out into the world, like, ‘There you go! You can now go and do absolutely anything you want, because you already did the worst thing.'”
However, Keen insist that Barbara isn’t crazy, or at least as far she is concerned:
“She’s not crazy! She’s just got some scores to settle. She has ‘issues,’ as she says. She definitely loves Jim, and she definitely wants him back. But I think it’s more like she wants to bring him into the darkness of where she is. She sees who he really is, so she’s kind of angered that he’s playing this ‘role’ [of do-right lawman], like, ‘No, I know who you really are, so I’m going to get you back and we’ll go into this dark place together.”
Richards went on to hint at further bloodshed at the hands of Babra, adding:
“She doesn’t want Jim dead. Yet. But as for lines that she won’t cross…. Hmm, I don’t think killing is out of the question!”
