Rumors have been flying that Selena Gomez is dating George Shelley of Union J. Turns out those claims are not true. A major gossip site is claiming that Gomez does not have a boyfriend, following her high-profile break up with Justin Bieber.
Ever since their split, the media has speculated about who Gomez was dating. Though a number of names were batted around, George Shelley seemed the most probable.
This is especially true after the couple were spotted on a date...or so claims New York Daily News. They quoted a “source” who says the couple spent all night together:
“Everyone else left the room at 2 a.m. so they were able to spend the night together. "Nobody was annoyed with George. After all, he's been pursued by one of the biggest pop stars in the world — it's any lad's dream come true.”
These aren’t the first allegations that the couple may be dating. Selena recorded a sexy video message for George, in which she flirted with the singer. Shelley, himself, commented about the recording:
“Selena’s one of those massive celebrities who doesn’t even know you exist, so I was gob-smacked (she wanted me to call her). I thought it was a lookalike at first. I could feel my cheeks going red and the lads laughed at me.”
Since these revelations, however, E! News has reported that Selena and George are not an item. The gossip site claims that they were never together and the confusion stemmed from the video Selena recorded.
