Tonight is the season finale of AGT and it's sure to provide some shocking results. Of course, the winner won’t be the only thing turning heads. Simon Cowell was spotted in the audience, right beside his pregnant girlfriend, Lauren Silverman.
Simon made national headlines when it was revealed that he got Lauren Silverman pregnant. The only problem was, she was still married to his best friend.
Simon Cowell recently opened up on Ellen Degeneres’ hit-morning show last Tuesday. While the press has had much to say about his new baby, Cowell has remained relatively tight lipped on the matters.
That all changed when Ellen asked him about the situation. Cowell was aware of the upcoming negative press but was excited about the prospect of becoming a new father, telling her:
“Oh my God, this is exciting, and it’s going to be a bit of a nightmare for the next few weeks. It was kind of uncomfortable. You know, the situation. But these things happen and everything is kind of calm now and I’m happy. I’m actually happier than I’ve ever been.”
One reason for the turnaround might be mommy dearest. Star Magazine recently quoted a source who revealed that Cowell’s mother wants him to make an honest woman out of Lauren:
“The one person in the world Simon is scared of is his mother, and he was dreading her reaction to everything that happened. She was as shocked as anyone by the pregnancy news, but she likes Lauren and was appalled by all the stories that Simon was going to run to the hills rather than make a go of things with her.”
