Although it has been rumored for weeks that the negative attention from Deflategate had Tom Brady's marriage to Gisele Bundchen near divorce, it might just be that the former Victoria's Secret supermodel is to blame for many of the problems in their marriage. According to the latest gossip news updates, once Tom and his wife got into couples' therapy, the relationship expert sided with the Patriots' quarterback in most of their ongoing feuds. Meanwhile, Brady is still dealing with the fallout from his latest football scandal with the NFL reportedly moving forward in their appeal of Judge Richard Berman's decision to overturn the four-game suspension levied against Brady.
Being that he was the one that got in trouble for supposedly cheating, Tom Brady reportedly served as an emotional punching bag to Gisele Bundchen's martial frustrations in the month that followed Deflategate.
One source in the latest September 28, issue of Star magazine claims that Gisele was blaming Tom for everything until their new therapist made it clear to Bundchen that being married to her isn't exactly easy:
"He's been getting some much needed vindication during the process.
"Tom got irritable under the stress, and she started blaming him for all their unhappiness, much of which was there before the scandal
"The truth is, his career was on the line, and his wife was sneaking around Paris in a burqa getting plastic surgery. The therapist noted that both of them tend to put Gisele's needs before his."
While Tom's marriage may finally be on a real upswing for the first time in ages, Brady's still has some dark clouds looming on the professional front.
It would seem that the NFL are moving fullsteam ahead with the plan to appeal Judge Richard Berman's decision to nullify their suspension of Brady.
Raffi Melkonian, a legal expert with Wright & Close in Houston, told Rachel Axon of USA Today that the league's strategy seemed to center around the technical argument that Berman had no authority to make a decision in the matter in the first place (via Bleacher Report):
"The way the NFL is going to approach it, it's not about facts. What they're saying is that Judge Berman erred as a matter of law by not giving the arbitrator's decision sufficient deference.
"It's not that Judge Berman got the facts wrong. It's that he had no business dealing with the facts."
