It would seem that Blake Shelton can't move on from his failed marriage to Miranda Lambert fast enough. According to the latest gossip news updates, Shelton wants nothing to do with his ex-wife, now that he's supposedly starting fellow Voice cast member dating Gwen Stefani. Since his divorce, Blake has made a big show of his being back on the single's market. In addition to Blake's putting the word out that he wished supermodel Kate Upton could join the chosw, the country music singer recently joked about switching lives with costar Adam Levine for just one night so he could have a go at his wife, Behati Prinsloo.
Despite the fact that he just recently finalized his divorce from Miranda Lambert, fans of The Voice will reportedly have no problem noticing that Shelton's relationship with Gwen Stefani has evolved since their split.
A behind-the-scene source from The Voice set told Radar Online that anyone with eyes can see that Blake is developing feelings for No Doubt's front-woman:
"Viewers will be able to see this from a mile away and it is going to make for some great TV.
"Blake and Gwen have been leaving the set together at the end of the workday on several occasions and he invited her out to the bar with him after taping too.
"Plus, the way that they interact both on-camera and off-camera is undeniably flirty."
Although Blake is said to have a new thing going on with Gwen, Shelton didn't mince words when joking with People that if there was anyone on the show that he would be willing to swap lives with for a day it would have to be with his Maroon 5 bestie, Adam Levine -- for obvious reasons:
"There's a lot of good options.
"[But] I'm gonna say I would pick Adam because he's married to a super model. Need I say more?
"That's who I'm picking and it's because of his wife. Period."
While Blake has seemingly wasted no time enjoying his new single lifestyle, it's been rumored that he is still bitterly upset with how everything worked out with Miranda Lambert.
One source in the latest September 28, issue of OK! Magazine explains that most days Blake doesn't even want to hear anyone speak his ex-wife's name:
"Blake doesn't anything to do with Miranda. He's telling his close friends that the marriage was a mistake, and, at this point, he wants to forget it ever happened.
"After all the stories he's heard, he feels like he didn't even really know her."
What do you think about Blake Shelton reportedly seeming so desperate to put his feelings for Miranda Lambert behind him forever?
Does his desire to forget only serve to prove that Blake's marriage meant more to him than his is clearly willing to admit?
Or, is Blake moving on so quickly just go to show that their relationship hasn't been healthy for a long time?
