Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson and her, now ex, boyfriend Brooks Ayers have been coming under fire for allegedly faking his cancer. The rumors only grew after Vicki broke up with Ayers. Now, Tamra Judge is coming out against Brooks, blasting him on the issue.
Tamra Judge recently sat down with People where she weighed in the Brooks Ayers controversy:
"I'm not buying it. I'm not a doctor, but I feel like it's fishy….I don't know a lot about cancer but you don't do three rounds of chemo and go, 'ehh I don't want to do it anymore."
Judge went on to further call Brooks’ treatment into question, adding:
"I can understand if you were deathly ill and chemo was giving you secondary infections and you couldn't leave your bed and you were so sick that you go, 'I don’t want this,' but when you are going to Mexico and having drinks at parties and you're like 'ehh…'. It's just weird."
The rumors may have even proven to be too much for Vicki Gunvalson. Gunvalson recently broke up with Brooks, as the ex-couple explained in a joint statement to Us Weekly, stating:
"After much prayer, thought, counseling, and consideration, we have decided to end our four year relationship. We both wish nothing but a great future for each other. We have come to realize that one can indeed love someone in their heart, but that the time may come for their lives to take separate paths. Through the remaining episodes of Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Orange County will show us as a couple, the filming took place in January 2015 through May 2015. There will be no further statements or interviews regarding our relationship as we choose to move on with our lives. Though we choose to live our lives in the public eye, we thank you for your understanding and ask privacy during this difficult time."
