There hasn’t been a Mega Millions lottery jackpot for a while now. That means that this weekend’s (September 11) game has risen past the $100 million mark. Check the report below to see how much the money you could win.
This weekend’s Mega Millions lottery jackpot has risen to $106 million with an estimated $65 million.
The official Mega Millions lottery website is reporting on the 5 people who started September off right:
“September 1, 2015 - Francois Marrec, Jr. of Haverhill, Mass., and four of his co-workers are splitting a $1 million Mega Millions prize won after one of their number combinations matched the first five numbers drawn in the multi-state game’s drawing held Tuesday, August 18, 2015.
“Marrec claimed the $1 million prize (less taxes) on behalf of the group on Tuesday, September 1, at the Massachusetts State Lottery’s Braintree headquarters. Their winning numbers (02-07-33-39-53) were originally chosen by a former co-worker. The group plans on rewarding her with a portion of their winnings and intends to ask her to choose a new set of numbers as they plan on retiring this combination.
“The winning ticket was purchased at Tedeschi Food Shops, 93 Lafayette Square in Haverhill. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale.”
