Rumors have been widespread that former No Doubt front-woman Gwen Stefani is pregnant. Now, according to a slip in a recent interview with rapper Eve, there is even more reason to believe that the singer is hiding her baby bump.
During a recent interview with Live Nation, Stefani's "Let Me Blow Ya Mind" collaborator, Eve, accidentally spilt the beans about the expecting pop-star. When the reporter asked if Eve would team up with her friend for any upcoming shows, the rapper replied: "Well she's preggers! She's chillin'."
The revelation isn't all too shocking, as many news outlets had suspected that the singer/actress was with child.
The 43-year-old Stefani and her husband 47-year-old, British rocker Gavin Rossdale of Bush are already the proud parents of two children--boys, Kingston James McGregor Rossdale and Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale.
The couple have apparently been trying to conceive for a while now, as Stefani told Marie Claire magazine last year this time:
"I really, really, really wanted one about two years ago, and it didn't really work out. So I feel good with what we've got. Everything works out how it should. You can't plan anything, right? You can try."
As of the time of this report, Stefani's representatives have yet to confirm the news. Perez Hilton has quoted an anonymous source who is reportedly close to Stefani, saying:
“Gwen and Gavin were shocked. They weren’t trying--it just happened. She started feeling sick a month ago, so she took a test. They’re ecstatic!”
The couple have been known to be very secretive regarding personal matters.
If the reports are in fact true, then congratulations are in order for the happy couple on the upcoming addition to their family. We here at Classicalite wish them all the best.
