Granted, we've already shared the Quickie playbill for critic, playwright and Lower East Side (now West Village) habitué Marc Spitz's newest production, Revenge and Guilt. With this his first time in the director's chair, naturally, we were stoked.
But then Spitz, ever the antagonist, posted the following seven photos to the play's Facebook page.
And now, we really can't hardly wait for Revenge and Guilt to open at Horse Trade's Kraine Theater later this week.
Lest you think that Spitz on stage has lost any of his trademark wit and bile, be sure to read his wonderfully droll "Post Rehearsal Dispatches." So far, he's put up eight such musings on the Revenge and Guilt Facebook, and all of 'em, indeed, are worth your time.
As for the pics in this here slideshow, they make for a pretty thorough plot synopsis; we're not compelled to offer anything further.
Except, of course, that Marc Spitz's directing debut runs every Thursday, Friday and Saturday (September 19-October 19) at 8 p.m. on 85 East 4th Street.
