Rumors that Robin Thicke has been cheating on his wife Paula Patton continue to swirl. The allegations stem from when Thicke allegedly grabbed the butt of socialite Lana Scolaro at the 2013 VMAs. Paula’s not buying all the claims that Lana is making about her husband and has called the woman desperate for attention.
A source allegedly close to the couple tells OK! Magazine that Thicke has been bummed out by the fact that the media is reporting on this story. The insider revealed that:
“Listen, [Robin] never wants to hurt Paula. They accept each other for who they both are. She knows she didn’t marry a saint, she didn’t marry a guy without a sex drive. She was well aware that she married the Casanova type but he loves her and treats her like a queen.”
The magazine goes on to imply that the couple may have a few non-traditional rules about their own marriage. According to the source:
“They addressed their issues long ago and just found what works for them and that’s what matters. It’s really no one else's business how they spend their time.”
Of course, this doesn’t mean that it’s OK for random women to come forward and say they hooked up with Rob while Paula was attending the same party. That became a bit much for the couple to handle, as the alleged insider reveals:
“No one wants to hear some woman claiming they had a hot night out with your husband, no one wants it living on the internet for your family to see. But Robin and Paula talked things through, and it didn’t change much. They still both love each other, they still give each other space and take it from there.”
