Tom Cruise, the world’s most famous Scientologist, and Katie Holmes briefly came back together. Though the pair aren’t reuniting like the tabloids would let you believe, the once husband and wife celebrity duo is bonding over Suri’s broken arm.
Tom and Katie may have had their troubles in the past, but when it comes to taking care of their daughter, they’re both on the same page. At least, that’s how it looked back in August when Suri Cruise broke her right arm.
Tom had been spending most of his time in London and Katie was trapped in Cleveland, filming her upcoming film, Miss Meadows. After Katie had been given word that her daughter’s arm was broken, she immediately called Tom.
OK! Magazine spoke with a source who they claim was an insider. Apparently, Tom halted filming and immediately rushed to Cleveland, as the source reveals:
“He was on the first plane to Cleveland. He and Katie took special care of Suri, who is perfectly fine and loving all the extra attention...especially the ice cream...It brought them to a new understanding. Tom’s being incredibly cooperative and Katie’s eternally grateful for that.”
The couple may be coming together to help their daughter heal, but romance is out of the question. In recent weeks, Tom and Katie have both been linked to some pretty dreamy celebrities themselves.
It’s rumored that Tom is dating fellow Scientologist and swimsuit model Jessica White, as a source revealed to OK! Magazine:
“Tom thinks Jessica’s wonderful and he’s smitten but he isn’t taking any chances. They’re spending quiet time together, getting to know each other. He’s taking his time but he’s looking for something serious. Tom is feeling the heat if being single for over a year, a condition he’s not been in for over a decade. He’s always got a woman. He’s that kind of man. He needs a companion in that way.”
