It seems that Wendy Williams is still not done poking fun at Caitlyn Jenner. After coming off at times as less than sensitive to the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star's transition, BET's daytime talk show host hoped that the new Halloween costume inspired by the I Am Cait star would do better than her ill-fated TV show. Feeling a need to weigh in on Kelly Osbourne's never ending feud with Giuliana Rancic as well, the wig loving gossip queen slammed the English fashionista for not realizing she'd already been out classed by her betters.
Ever since making her official announcement regarding her transition, Caitlyn Jenner has been lauded as a hero by the media, but Wendy Williams seems more comfortable throwing subtle gibes in the reality stars direction than congratulating her.
In her latest contribution to the September 14, issue of Life & Style magazine Williams can't help but bring up the new Halloween costume inspired by Jenner's transgender transformation as well as I Am Cait's sagging ratings:
"Of course, there is a Caitlyn Jenner Halloween costume for sale online. I'd be shocked if there wasn't!
"Caitlyn is the dark horse in the popularity race of 2015. This is a fantastic idea and a homage to her celeb status.
"I just hope it does better than her E! show!"
And while most folks in the entertainment business aren't willing to go anywhere near Kelly Osbourne's ongoing feud with her former Fashion Police costar, Giuliana Rancic, Wendy Williams didn't hesitate to jump in with both feet.
According to Wendy's opinion in L&S, Kelly needs to learn to call it a day and walk away, instead of embarrassing herself:
"I was shocked to hear that Kelly ripped her former Fashion Police co-host in an August 22, interview -- calling her a liar and claiming that she's not a good person.
"G is clearly the bigger person in this battle for not responding.
"Kel, all the trach you are talking makes you look bad...Sit down and figure out a better way to stay relevant."
To be fair -- as miffed as Wendy might have been for Kelly acting out, she seemed down right disappointed with Nicki Minaj for the same reason.
In a recent interview with HuffPost Live, Williams explained how distasteful she though it was for the 32-year-old "Anaconda" singer to go after Miley Cyrus at the VMAs last week (via HollywoodLife):
"I was very disappointed in Nicki. And I don't have an opinion on either one of the girls...You know, they're both talented in their own way.
"I just feel that Nicki is like twice Miley Cyrus' age and it would have been nice if Nicki would have just taken her award, rolled her eyes and looked at the camera -- and then kept it moving.
"Who fights with kids?"
What do you think about Wendy Williams talking about this year's highly offensive Caitlyn Jenner costume like it was a badge of honor?
Does Williams really not understand why some of things she says regarding Jenner could be considered completely inappropriate?
Or, is Wendy just getting a little cleverer with her insults?
