Rumors are flying that Mary-Kate Olsen is engaged to her boyfriend, Olivier Sarkozy. Mr. Sarkozy is the half brother of Nicolas Sarkozy, the former President of France.
Mary-Kate Olsen has had an interesting life. She’s starred in Full House, one of the world’s most successful (and syndicated) shows on the planet, launched a successful straight-to-video film career, founded a production company and made a hundred million dollars in the process.
Now she may be marrying a real life prince...or at least the half-brother of a French President. Mary-Kate and Olivier have been dating for quite some time and sources have revealed that the two may be considering marriage.
According to Star Magazine, Mary-Kate has already accepted the invitation and is sporting a fancy new engagement ring. And you can bet that the nine-carat marquise-cut cost a pretty penny.
Sarkozy, who is 44 (17 years older than Mary-Kate), is worth a lot of money. He’s made a fortune in the business world.
A source close to Mary-Kate told the tabloid that:
“Olivier makes her feel secure and protected. He takes care of her. Mary-Kate is so happy. She and Olivier are completely in synch.”
Of course, these sound like some of the same rumors we heard earlier in the year, when the tabloids claimed the happy couple was tying the knot. That was until Perez Hilton cleared things up:
“Earlier this week rumors were wafting around France that Mary Kate Olsen had gotten engaged to her much older rich French loverman, Olivier Sarkozy...Mary Kate's rep has officially put an end to the wedding talk, telling sources there is "no truth at all” to those silly engagement rumors.”
