Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks Ayers have officially broken up. Now, new rumors are popping up that Ayers cheated on Gunvalson once again, and following allegations that he was faking his cancer diagnosis. Last year Ayers was caught admitting to cheating on Vicki in a secret recording.
Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks Ayers confirmed the end of their relationship in a joint statement to Us Weekly, stating:
"After much prayer, thought, counseling, and consideration, we have decided to end our four year relationship. We both wish nothing but a great future for each other. We have come to realize that one can indeed love someone in their heart, but that the time may come for their lives to take separate paths. Though the remaining episodes of Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Orange County will show us as a couple, the filming took place in January 2015 through May 2015. There will be no further statements or interviews regarding our relationship as we choose to move on with our lives. Though we choose to live our lives in the public eye, we thank you for your understanding and ask privacy during this difficult time."
The National Enquirer is reporting on an unnamed source who opened up about on why Vicki and Brooks broke up and how they are handling it:
“Vicki and Brooks split up three weeks ago and they are amicable, but it is over for good. She got tired of defending him and his cheating ways.”
Last year the National Enquire acquired a secret tape of Brooks Ayer admitting to cheating on Vicki Gunvalson.
The man who recorded the tapes spoke with National Enquirer about how Vicki Gunvalson hired him to make the tape, (via Radar Online):
“I recorded [Brooks] out of an abundance of caution, specifically at the request of Vicki Gunvalson. She asked me to help Brooks. Given his background, I did not want this guy walking away making false claims about our time. Who knows what he would have said.”
